What Happens After You Inquire About a Strategic Website

Reaching out about a website is a big step — not because it’s complicated, but because most people aren’t sure what the process will actually feel like.

Will this be overwhelming?
Will it turn into a sales pitch?
Will I even know what to say?

If you’ve ever paused before booking a consult because of those questions, this post is for you.

Here’s exactly what happens after you inquire about a strategic website, so you can decide if it feels like the right next step.

Step 1: You Choose Your Consult Time (No Back-and-Forth)

If you decide to book a consult, you’ll select a day and time that works for you right away.

No email chains.
No waiting to hear back.
No scheduling friction.

Once booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details so everything is clear and handled.

If you already know you’d like pricing, there’s also an option to skip the consult and request a custom quote directly. Both paths are intentionally available — choose what feels easiest for you.

Step 2: A Calm, Structured Conversation About Your Business

Consults are 30 minutes and held via Zoom.

If you’re local to the Portland, OR or Washington County, OR area, we can also meet:

  • At your business

  • Or at a nearby café or coffee shop

This is a structured conversation with guiding questions — not a pitch.

We’ll talk about:

  • Your business goals

  • The role your website plays (or should play) in your business

  • What’s working now

  • What isn’t

  • Where you want things to go next

The focus is always on purpose and strategy first, not design trends or unnecessary features.

Most people leave this conversation feeling clear, grounded, and confident about what their website actually needs.

Step 3: A Custom Quote (Sent Within One Business Day)

After the consult — or after reviewing your quote request — I’ll put together a custom quote for your specific project.

You’ll receive it within one business day.

Your quote includes:

  • Clear scope

  • Expected timeline

  • Investment details

  • One primary recommendation

  • Optional add-ons, if applicable

No overwhelming packages.
No guesswork.
No hidden steps.

Just straightforward information so you can make a decision comfortably.

Step 4: Moving Forward (If It’s a Fit)

If everything feels aligned, moving forward is simple.

You’ll:

  • Sign a contract

  • Submit a 50% deposit to reserve your project

From there, your project is officially scheduled and we move into a thoughtful, organized build process designed to support your business long-term — not just launch day.

And if it’s not the right fit? That’s okay too. Clarity is always the goal.

This Process Is Designed to Feel Easy on Purpose

Building or redesigning a website doesn’t need to feel chaotic or confusing.

This process is intentionally:

  • Structured

  • Calm

  • Clear

  • Respectful of your time and decision-making

Whether you’re ready to book a consult or simply want a custom quote to review, the next step is available when you are.
